  25. At this point, NewTek people don't really see anything from the mailing 
  26. lists until everything has been archived and I upload it to their BBS...

  32. I have recently gotten a firm agreement from a couple of NewTek employees 
  33. (NewTek itself?) to provide both of these mailing lists with a new home 
  34. at newtek.com sometime before the November 31st deadline that WebCom has 
  35. announced for discontinuing mailing list support.

  37. As part of this new arrangement, I hope to also be able to forward ideas, 
  38. suggestions, and complaints to an e-mail address at newtek.com for the 
  39. appropriate people to read...we may even have people from NewTek come and 
  40. visit from time to time, but they're afraid of receiving huge piles of 
  41. mail once their e-mail addresses become known, which is very understandable.

  43. I'm very pleased to say that I will be allowed to continue running these 
  44. lists...I won't be working for NewTek, but I will be running "their" 
  45. mailing lists.  This will help me out financially, as it is not cheap to 
  46. keep these lists running.

  48. We expect to start testing the new lists within the next month or two so 
  49. that we can give people enough time to get used to the new addresses.
